"Paul Gentry, Dan Swan and LaVada
Torzewski"
March 26, 2004
This newsletter is 19 years in the making!!! Bout time
we do one is all we can say!. To get you acquainted with
us, let us first give you an Azimuth history summary:
Azimuth was formed in San
Jose, California in 1985 to preach the Gospel through music.
In the early years, Azimuth concentrated it's ministry inside
prisons and youth authorities. We also played in many local churches
and community events throughout Northern California. In
1994 Azimuth stopped performing live and centered on studio projects
and have strove to reach His excellence musically ever since.
Our producers, Ed Goldfarb and Paul A. Fox have helped
bring His music to nearly every U.S. state and many countries
via the radio.
Currently we accomplish our
ministry from three states, Denver, Colorado (LaVada); Milpitas,
California (Dan) and Belfair, Washington (Paul). We feel
we are called to spread His word through music via the radio,
CD's and praise and worship songs. We all have our local
ministries and are active in our church worship teams.

FIRST FOCUS: We
are in the middle of recording our next album, "Mystery
of Your Love" which we expect to release next year. We
are meeting in June to complete our next four songs and will
produce two more songs next year. We have made it a priority
to ensure our lyrics are centered on our Lord and Savior, Jesus
Christ and that our music reaches that same high standard. You
can monitor our progress by bookmarking our main music page at
LINK.
OTHER FIRST FOCUS!:
We are very active in writing praise and worship music
that we share through CCLI, Songsofpraise.org,
AzSongs.com, FreePraiseAndWorship.org,
InHymn.com, and Sharesong.org.
We've had the honor of writing songs with Lenny
Smith, Rick Founds,
Elton Smith, Larry
Holder, Dave Cooley
and the brilliant Rhesa
Siregar from Indonesia. Elton has had a huge influence
with our musical direction and with his assistance we have forged
our own genre, Pop/Praise and will employ this style on our next
album. For sheet music or midi for our most recent song, Your Love (written by Rick Founds,
Paul Gentry and Dan Swan) please visit at SOP at LINK.
ELEVATOR ON THE RISE!!!! As
a pre-release album promotion we recently submitted "Elevator's
Gone" onto the popular Uncle Samoo's Zoo Radio Show which
is hosted by WITR in Rochester, New York. Many popular
bands were launched from this Indie Christian Show including
"Jars of Clay." We are currently #42 on their
charts and should keep moving up to the higher floors! Our next
album title track, Mystery of Your Love rose to #8 on their charts
in early 2002.. Additionally "Son of Thunder"
was aired on March 21st! This show is syndicated across
the U.S. Airing Sunday Nights 7 PM to Midnight (eastern). Join
the webcast ... www.thelivingrock.com!
If you like our song, please write Pastor Samme at sammep@aol.com and encourage
them to keep playing Azimuth!!

OUR OTHER AZIMUTH WEBSITES!!!!
Many of our songs midi files and sheet music files
can be found at our two sites we maintain below, AzSongs and
eSongbooks. Additionally, we are very close to completing our
first songbook and have many praise and worship songs available
from Azimuth writers and friends. Please click the links
below to take a look at our sites and feel free to download as
much as you wish!

In these days of troubled times
we encourage everyone to keep our nation in prayer. There is
so much bias in the mainstream media that is hard to keep a balanced
eye on current events, so we feel the only good news is in our
Bibles and we pray you keep His word close to your heart and
keep His focus and not our own!
Blessings,
Paul Gentry on behalf of Azimuth
